Easy Guac

I can’t claim to be the best cook around, but when I do choose to put my hands into something it’s usually pretty easy and of course, tasty.

Today’s concoction is Mom’s easy guacamole. It takes three-to-four ingredients to put together this Tex-Mex snack and the two minutes it takes to whip it together is time well spent.

First you’ll want to know how many people you’ll be serving. One large avocado will usually provide a treat for two or three hungry people. (Tip: Add a few squirts of lime to keep the color bright green if serving at a party.)

Split avocado in half and use your knife to wiggle the seed out.

Add two tablespoons of salsa and less than one teaspoon of garlic salt to the mashed avocado.

Serve your easy guac with tortilla chips or use it as a tasty condiment on a sandwich.
